The MARCSTA General Safety Induction program is designed for workers engaged in all surface operations of mines and other industrial workplaces as a basic introduction to safe working practices.

  • TV/DVD Player

Duration: 8hrs

Pre-Requisites: There is no pre-requisite for this course.

Course Content:
  • Access and Apply Site Safety Procedures;
  • Apply Personal Safety Measures;
  • Identify and Report Incidents/Hazards;
  • Apply Emergency Procedures According to site requirements; and
  • Maintain Personal Well-Being
Assessment: During the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
 
Outcome: This one day course is based on units of competence from the nationally endorsed Metalliferous Training Package MNMG202A Work Safely
 
Individual Requirements:
  • Pen
  • 1 form of Photo ID (i.e. Passport, Drivers licence, Photo ID card, Student card)
