Duration:
4hrs - This covers all theory components required for partial completion of the nationally recognised unit.

Course Content:
  • The statutory requirements of working in confined spaces
  • The requirements of AS/NZ 2865-2001
  • Hazard identification, risk assessment and control in confined spaces
  • Required documentation, equipment and systems for confined space entry
  • Duties and roles of persons working within confined spaces
  • Requirements for emergency response and rescue plans when working in a confined space.
Assessment: At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
 
Outcome: On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a certificate in partial completion of BCCCM2009B Work in Confined Spaces.
