Staff, including promotional staff involved in the sale, supply and service of alcohol

Volunteers, including club directors who have liquor service responsibilities

The NSW RSA course is recognised in all states except Victoria and Queensland. In Victoria, you can do a free online refresher: www.consumer.vic.gov.au/refresher In Queensland, you must sit the course again.

Legislative framework
- Alcohol guidelines
- Strategies to prevent intoxication
Assessment: At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
Outcome: On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment in “Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol SITHFAB009A” as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations as well as the Casino Liquor and Gaming Control Authority (CLGCA) certificate. Certificates are issued same day!

- 1 form of Photo ID (i.e. Passport, Drivers licence, Photo ID card, Student card)
Please note: As of 13th December, 2008 Proof of Age cards are no longer valid forms of photographic identification. All Proof of Age cards must be changed over to the NSW Photo Card available from the Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW.
